Nail Art: Pink x White Ombre Nail

Pink x White Ombre 1

I’ve seen a lot of ombre nails that use black gradation recently, and wanted to try something new. I chose white shimmery polish (perfect for winter, no?) and pink; my nails now look like cute sweets :)

What I used (from left):

Pink x White Ombre polish
  • Paul & Joe / 17
  • Paul & Joe / 007

To get the look:

1) Apply one coat of base coat.

2) Apply three coats of 17.

3) When the nails are completely dry, apply 007 on each tip to make gradation art (for how to make ombre nails, please read this post).

4) Place rhinestones on the tip of each nails.

5) Apply one coat of top coat.

The ombre nails are much easier to achieve than it looks, but… the drying time is so long! But come to think of it, the last time I did ombre nails (black x blue one) it didn’t take that long; I think it’s because darker colours need less coats to make gradation, thus less drying time. And shimmery colours tend to need extra coats to make them opaque… Oh well, lesson learned!
