Nail Art: Glitter Confetti Nails
Hello lovelies! I was feeling a bit lazy, so this week’s nail art is very simple – but don’t be disappointed, they are really fun and sparkly!
I used (from left):
- round glitters
- essie / Sand Tropez
- Barry M / 239
- hexagonal glitters
How to get the look:
1) Apply base coat.
2) Apply two coats of essie.
3) While the nails are still wet, add glitters on your nail.
4) Apply one coat of top coat.
Easy & cute, right? If you don’t want to splash out on nail polishes that has glitters in, you can buy glitters from craft shops (much cheaper, trust me). I mixed several shapes and colours of glitters to make ‘confetti’ effect.
If you are using a clear nail polish with glitters in (Barry M / 239 in this case) like me, my tip is to apply the polish on a piece of foil or paper pallet first so that you can control how much glitter you put on your nails. You can also pick up other glitters with the same blush– in this way you can control where you put the glitters as well.
If you are not using polish with glitters in, you can either sprinkle glitters over the nails, or use orangewood sticks and toothpicks to pick up the glitters.
