Nail Art: Glitter Flowers

Glitter Flowers

Happy July, lovelies! Hope you’re having a wonderful summer – for sweets living in the UK… I know. I feel it. No summer and no sunshine, why am I surprised…?

Anyways, this week’s nail art is pretty simple; if you have any glitters that are lying around in your craft box, experiment and have fun with them :)

I used:

  • essie / Sand Tropez
  • essie / Jazz

How to get the look:

1) Apply base coat.

2) Apply two coats of Sand Tropez on thumb, middle and ring fingers, and Jazz on index and little fingers.

3) While the nails are still wet, place round glitters on each nail.

4) Apply a top coat.

Yap, I’m using Essie’s Sand Tropez again – I seriously can’t seem to live without this mani lately. Creamy, classy and so easy to add some fun and colours! Do you have any ‘comfort mani’ that you always go back to?

Also, if you have a perfect white polish, please tell me – I’ve been trying to find ‘the one’ for ages but without a success :( I want white, but not squeaky clean white, creamy but not too thick (about 6 coasts to achieve opaqueness would be perfect). Hope I didn’t sound too demanding!

  1. Oh wow, thank you so, so much truebluemeandyou!!! I can’t believe how quick it was for you to find my ‘it polish’ that I’ve been searching for ages… you and your readers are absolute stars :D Please excuse me now, I have a shopping to be done :)

  2. Posted this on my site asking about your nail polish question. One of my readers wrote: Creme Fraiche by OPI! It’s on the side of creamy white and it takes a few coats to get opaque :D
