Free iPhone App: Cameran Directed by Mika Ninagawa
Hello pretties! I was going to share you a craft tutorial this morning – but just encountered this wicked, free camera app called cameran directed by Mika Ninagawa, and I had to share it with you first!
Mika Ninagawa is a Japanese photographer and a film director, know for her vivid (I mean, really bright and vivid) visuals. And this app transforms ordinary photos into something quite otherworldly.
As you can guess from the title, yes, this app is only for iPhone, iPod touch and iPad users at the moment (apparently they are developing Android version). So… this is what you can do with the app:
There are 23 filters for you to choose from – the first image (the very top left) is my original photo, and the next 6 images are taken with standard cameran filters, and other 17 filters are taken with ‘Mika special’ filters. Mika filters include something very original (and a bit wired) effects such as roses, butterfly and goldfish.
Top photo is shot without the camera app, and the bottom photos are shot with the app (left with ‘light 2’ filter, right with ‘Toy 1’ filter).
Hope you guys are going to enjoy the app as much as I do (it’s quite addictive)! I’ll be back with the said craft tutorial later – until then, enjoy Mika world!
