Nail Art: Double French with a Twist
Happy Friday everyone! I have been secretly collecting grey polishes for the past month or so; and today, I chose two of them for double French manicure. And since the polishes I chose were a bit ‘dull’ if painted in ordinary French manicure way, I gave it a bit of a twist.
What I used (from left)
- model’s own/ Grey Day
- TopShop/ Cyclone
- pa/ slim 02
To Get the Look:
1) Apply a base coat.
2) Apply a single coat of Grey Day on each tip of the nails. If your polish colour looks too thin, apply second coat.
3) Apply a single coat of Cyclone on top of Grey Day.
4) Apply Slim 02 along the outlines of Grey Day.

For me, painting this design is much easier than doing classic French manicure. I think that’s because French manicure has to look precise; the white parts should have the same curves and length on each nail. But for this design, you can’t really tell (or so I hope) if they aren’t exactly the same. So if you are a bit clumsy like me, please give it a go and you’ll be surprised!
