Necklace with a Vintage Heart
On Monday, I received this sweet heart-shaped pendant top from my mum, which I had ordered it from my favourite vintage beads shop in Japan. I’m sure that it’s not only me who is frustrated about the fact that most Japanese online shops don’t accept orders from overseas. It sucks, quite frankly!
My moaning aside, I can’t stop smiling at my new purchase. This vintage cutie is originally from West Germany, and it has a letter ‘F’ carved inside. Well, some of you lovely readers might remember that I’m collecting ‘E’ shaped objects (E for Emi, my name). Unfortunately, since it’s a vintage stuff, there were only letter K, Y and F available. But fortunately, my surname starts with F; so it found a new home, all the way from Germany to Japan to the UK!
I made a simple necklace using the precious top, and I’m absolutely chuffed by the result. Maybe I should start collecting F shaped objects too, ey?
